DEMOCRACY: End Capture, Restore Representation

Right now, the biggest problem in our system isn’t left vs right, it’s that the system no longer responds to people.

My priorities:

• End gerrymandering

  • Transparent, math-based districting

• Ranked-choice voting

  • More choice, less strategic voting

• Abolish the Electoral College

  • Equal vote means equal vote

• Make voting accessible

  • Mail-in voting

  • Weekend or holiday elections

  • Paid time to vote

• Get money out of politics

  • Ban dark money and Super PACs

  • Cap donations at low, equal levels

  • Eliminate paid political advertising

Bottom line: If your vote doesn’t carry equal weight, the system isn’t democratic.
